Upmarket Homes has been building outstanding homes since 1990. Specialising in custom homes, knockdown rebuilds, and design concepts and feasibility services; the team prides themselves on their seven-step process, site-start guarantee and fixed pricing.
Their Challenge
The team had previously faced issues connecting to their audience through the use of their website. The poor usability of the site and lack of call-to-actions discouraged users from ultimately enquiring about the team's services. Upmarket came to us hoping to enhance their site and provide a more user-friendly experience.
Our Action
We worked closely with the team at Upmarket Homes to understand their business needs, values, and goals, and created a customised plan to meet their unique needs.

Experience Design
We worked with the team to identify important information from their previous site, pulled the content out and restructured each-and-every page for a more structured and hierarchical system. Doing so ensured that the usability of the site would be enhanced. One area in particular which we highly revamped was the ‘Seven Steps to Your New Home’ page.
Each step was reworked along a timeline to better navigate the user through the content. The addition of icons helped to connect the user visually with the content. In addition to this, carousel and various animations helped to make the website come to life, providing a better user experience.
Web Design
Starting with the homepage, we ensured that key elements within Upmarket’s branding, business needs, values, and goals were highlighted in a modern and simplified manner. Upon review with the team, feedback was incorporated and used to guide our creative team through the creation of the inner pages. Upon final review with Upmarket, the team were able to begin developing the website HTML.
Custom Web Development
Throughout the entire development process, we kept the team at Upmarket up-to-date. From HTML development to backend development, bug fixing and finally providing the training documentation to ensure the team could make minor edits to the site in the long run. After a final review and minor changes, the new site went live!
Our Results
Since the website has just launched, we still have limited data, however, we are positive that we will see a steady increase in Upmarket Homes’ website traffic.
