EQ Cafe and Bakehouse is a renowned culinary destination, offering a diverse range of cuisines, coffees and desserts across multiple locations in Canberra. Known for their exceptional food and top-notch service, EQ Cafe and Bakehouse has successfully expanded to six outlets across Canberra, while maintaining its high standards.
Their Challenge
The EQ team faced significant challenges in promoting their exceptional foods and services. Their digital presence was relatively small, and their limited online content was not engaging audiences, nor reflecting their amazing products.
Our Action
Having previous success in the hospitality industry, we understood the vision that EQ had, as well as the roadmap to get there. After conducting a thorough competitor analysis and market study, we came to EQ with an informed marketing strategy.
Throughout the project, we worked on multiple facets of the business including:
Performance Marketing
We helped EQ penetrate the highly competitive hospitality market through an extensive paid marketing campaign. We used a mix of paid ads, display ads and search ads, to enhance the cafe’s reach, whilst specifically targeting relevant audiences. A multichannel approach ensured an increase in customer engagement, with EQ only paying when certain conversions were achieved.
Social Media
To help build a brand identity for EQ, we created engaging content for their Instagram and Facebook accounts. By creating a fun and engaging dialogue with their current and potential audiences, we were able to spread EQ’s brand awareness and improve their business.
Website
The team at Planetmedia helped restructure EQ’s existing website to better promote the offerings of each unique outlet. Moreover, we created a more engaging design with brand elements and introduced online booking functionality.
