Daana is a premium Indian restaurant located in Canberra serving authentic South Indian & regional cuisine with a contemporary approach. Established in 2015 by experienced chef’s Sunita & Sanjay, the multi-award-winning team at Daana has taken over the Canberra food market by storm.
The restaurant Daana had not updated their website design in over 2 years and felt like it needed a change. The old website (also designed by us), did not fully encapsulate the brand that Daana had evolved into over the years.
Daana required a new website with a contemporary design, an easier user experience and updated content to improve their SEO.
Having worked closely with the client we understood their vision for the website. We then conducted a thorough market study to better understand the gaps that needed to be addressed.

We assisted our client in rewriting their content to better represent the journey of Daana as a restaurant and a brand. Additionally, we assisted our client with structuring their content to make it more visually appealing and incorporated more keywords to improve SEO performance.
We updated the design to better reflect what Daana has become today; a modern contemporary restaurant, authentic to its roots.
We then developed a HTML link for the client to better visualise and experience the website in order to understand the user journey and new interactive features.
Our team assessed the current content and performed an in-depth keyword analysis. We then rewrote the content and headings to accommodate the most popular keywords to increase organic website traffic.
Ongoing Maintenance and Support
After completing the website, our team closely monitored the website performance and constantly optimised the website. Beyond this, we also updated certain sections of the website when requested by the client, providing ongoing maintenance and bug fixing for them as well.
Digital Marketing & Social Media
Once the website went live, we then created a digital campaign on Facebook & Instagram to push the new brand identity and increase customer engagement.
