People ask AI first
A lot of customers don't scroll through links anymore. They just ask ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity.
Fewer clicks, more answers

Getting in early helps
Once AI tools start trusting a brand, that authority builds on itself. It's hard for competitors to catch up later on.

If you’re not in the AI’s answer, or it gets your details wrong, you can lose the customer before they ever visit your site.
